Erik Kanerva has worked for 7 years at Kempower and belongs to the first five employees, starting the company’s operations in 2018.

In his role as Director of Sales, Northern Europe, Erik leads the sales teams in Finland and the Baltics, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, and the UK and Ireland.

Erik has a background in the automotive Industry and has worked for brands such as Ford, Audi, Volkswagen, Seat, Volvo and Tesla – From PHEVs into EVs and all the way to manufacturing the market-leading distributed DC-charging solutions in the world.

Based in the Helsinki region, Erik has over 15 years of experience working in sales, marketing, and product management. Erik holds two master’s degrees from Helsinki University (Pol. Sc.) and Åbo Akademi (Econ.) in Finland and is a member of the board at ITS Finland and Technology Industries of Finland’s Electromobility division.
